1)Is it safe to travel in Georgia?
As I have already mentioned in the previous Blog, Georgia is one of the safest country in the world and you can be sure about safety. The International Crime Index rated Georgia as the seventh safest country in the world in 2017 and In the 2022 International Crime Index, Georgia ranks 14th in the world in terms of safety behind countries including Qatar, Taiwan, Oman, Slovenia, Armenia and the UAE. Also, Tbilisi – The capital of Georgia is consistently cited as one of the safest cities in the world.
2)What is local currency?
local currency is the Georgian lari (currency code: GEL). Georgian law requires that all goods and services are denominated in lari, so you’ll likely need to exchange currencies before or after you arrive. You can easily find exchange offices everywhere in the town.
3)What is the official language in Georgia?
The official language is Georgian language. Georgian is among the 10 oldest languages still spoken in the world today but as English is an international language, a lot of people speak in English and you can feel free in hotels and tourist areas. Mainly the young generation speaks
English and the old generation speaks Russian.
4)Is Georgia expensive?
Georgia is one of the most affordable countries in Europe, Food and groceries are incredibly cheap as well as accommodation. Museums and lots of sightseeing are free of charge. That is why you can consider Georgia a very budget-friendly tourist destination.

5) Do I need visa to travel in Georgia?
Citizens of more than 90 countries do not require a visa to visit Georgia for tourism purposes. These include all European Union and CIS member states, USA, Canada, Japan, South Korea, United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Brazil and others. If you have not found your residency on the list, you will be required to obtain a short-term entry visa. Applicants might need to provide confirmation of their travel purposes, such as hotels, flights reservations, booked Georgia tour schedule, etc. The application process can be made online. 6)Does it worth to try Georgian traditional food?
When it comes to Georgian cuisine the answer to this question is YES because Georgian food is quite appropriately an expression of the culture. Georgian cuisine is a great discovery for gourmets. You can find a rich and diverse menu suited to your taste. I suggest you to give a try
cheesy bread “Khachapuri”, Georgian dumpling “Khinkali”, red bins bread ‘”Lobiani” and many more.
7)What’s Georgia famous for?
