When to Go
Two very different seasons work here. Mid-December to April is ski season, with January and February the most reliable for snow. June to September gives warm days for hiking, paragliding and mountain biking, with wildflowers on slopes that are under snow the rest of the year.
Getting to Gudauri

Getting Around Once You Are There
The resort village is walkable, and lifts handle the slopes themselves. Reaching Ananuri, Zhinvali or an onward day trip to Kazbegi needs a vehicle, which is why our Gudauri packages include a car and driver for the full day.

The resort village sits around 2,200 metres and the upper slopes close to 3,000 metres, high enough that weather changes fast and layers matter even on a clear morning. Winter temperatures at altitude regularly drop well below freezing.
